| Thallus foliose, ±closely adnate, 3–7 cm wide, 150–500 µm thick, pale grey to blue or browned. Lobes rotund to oblong, 2–7 mm wide; margins entire, lobulate or ±isidiate. Upper surface strongly wrinkled when dry, weakly so when wet, lobulate, occasionally isidiate; isidia squamuliform; wrinkles anastomosing, ±periclinal near lobe apices. Lower surface with ±compacted rhizine bundles. Apothecia laminal, adnate to sessile, 1.5–3 mm wide; disc flat to concave, usually pale brown; thalline exciple ±periclinally wrinkled, lobulate or isidiate, concolorous with thallus. Ascospores 3–5, rarely 8 per ascus, narrowly ellipsoidal, submuriform, 18–23 × 6–9 µm; apices usually obtuse. Pycndia laminal. Conidia 4–5 µm long; apices rarely swollen. | ||
| Occurs in Vic., Tas. and New Zealand. Grows on trees and shrubs of mesophyll understorey in montane moist eucalypt forest and in Nothofagus rainforest; also on moist rocks and less commonly on soil. | ||
